Rising to the challenge
Shepherds Park ETU has a strong focus on understanding the whole student and their individual academic and post release needs. This is achieved through Individual Learning Pathways which involve student/teacher consultation to improve all learning outcomes supported by achievable goals. Shepherds Park ETU has a strong wellbeing focus for both students and staff. This includes the integration of wellbeing into the curriculum and regular sessions where students have an identified staff member they can talk to. Alongside wellbeing our primary focus centres around post school pathways whereby, students are equipped with work readiness skills from a variety of career perspectives and Registered Training Organisation courses. This enables them to reintegrate back into their communities as positive and highly employable young men.
