Learning Support Staff including School Learning Support Officers (SLSO)
At Shepherds Park School, our committed School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs) and Aboriginal Education Officer (AEO) work collaboratively to support the learning and wellbeing of all our students.
Our School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs) provide invaluable assistance in classrooms, helping students with diverse learning needs to engage fully and confidently in their education. With patience, care, and expertise, they support both teachers and students to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Our Aboriginal Education Officer (AEO) plays a key role in fostering a culturally inclusive school community. The AEO supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students by promoting their connection to culture, community, and country, while also working with staff and families to ensure every student’s educational journey is enriched and supported.
Together, our SLSO and AEO team are committed to empowering every student at Shepherds Park School to thrive academically, socially, and culturally.
