Wellbeing
At Shepherds Park School, wellbeing is embedded in daily life and forms the foundation for positive learning, growth and success for both students and staff. Through a holistic and collaborative approach involving school staff, Youth Justice, Justice Health and other key support services, we foster a safe, supportive and connected environment where everyone can thrive. Students are encouraged to build resilience, develop positive coping strategies, set meaningful goals and actively engage in their learning and personal growth, while staff are supported through strong professional relationships, collaboration and a shared commitment to wellbeing. Access to a broad network of support including a school counsellor, psychologists, nurse, case workers and Aboriginal Education Officers, helps ensure the diverse needs of our community are met. By prioritising wellbeing, cultural connection, inclusion and a sense of belonging, we strengthen relationships across the school community and create an environment where all stakeholders feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
