Community
At Shepherds Park School, community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that strong connections between students, teachers, Youth Justice staff, families, and the wider community create a positive and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. By working together, sharing knowledge, celebrating achievements, and supporting one another, we foster a culture of mutual respect, belonging and shared responsibility. We proudly celebrate the diverse cultures, experiences and perspectives within our community, recognising that inclusivity and cultural understanding enrich the lives of all stakeholders. These meaningful partnerships strengthen relationships, enhance wellbeing, and create a sense of purpose and connection that benefits not only our students, but everyone who contributes to and supports the Shepherds Park School community.
Some of the important events and programs valued by our school include: NAIDOC Week, Pasifika, ANZAC Day, Eid, International Women’s Day, Minus 18 High Tea, Sorry Day, International Day of Persons with Disabilities and RU Okay Day.
